How to ALWAYS have connection to my server from iOS via JRemote

Read about Wake on Lan problems by Googling.  Your BIOS may have a setting for it, as an example.

See if you can find an app to test it.

I spent almost 4 hours googling and reading on WOL, but just cant seem to figure it out. ALTHOUGH - I did not try adjusting settings in the BIOS.

For now my work around is to just disable the computer from going to sleep  ;D!

I can even access it with WiFi off... so one can assume I can access it on the road (far from home). Long as the machine isnt asleep.

One thing I kept reading was that WOL rarely works on WiFi, and an Ethernet Card is more likely to work, well I use Wifi, so maybe ill try and run an ethernet cord up to my office, but in the meantime, preventing my machine from sleeping will suffice.

If you have any thoughts, let me know. But thanks for the help  either way
