Does the mac address list in access key lookup ever get pruned?

https://webplay.jriver.com/libraryserver/lookup returns a mac address list, I can see that one of my servers has a long list of MAC addresses which I'd think means this list is never pruned. Is it correct? I want to use this to feed a WOL call but I don't want to necessarily hit every single one each time so do I just pick the most recent or something else?
