Unable to Rip CD
« on: February 17, 2024, 03:38:01 pm »

When I try to rip a music cd using the "Rip CD" in the action menu, nothing happens. I click on "insert a disc and click here" and my cursor momentarily blinks but does nothing. If I use Rip Disc from the Tools menu then it says "There are no tracks available to rip". However, I can play all the tracks using File > Open Media File. All the songs are there and they play just fine. Also, when I first insert the disc, Apple Music pops up and recognizes the disc and asks if I want to import it. I completely close Apple Music but MC still refuses to acknowledge there's a disc to rip.

MC 30.10.83 Silicon
Mac OS 14.3.1
Mac Air M2

EDIT:
I found I could do it using the Drives and Devices menu. The options mentioned above do not work.
