Why Does It Still Show Media Center 31 and Playlist Gone

Man oh man, I think I blew it.
Many years subscriber and recently bought Media Center 32 but when I restore the license it still says Media Center 31. Is this what it should say?
Also I deleted the 31 version that I had and reinstalled again with the new license. Are my playlists gone forever? I blew it didnt I and I just made a bunch of Video Playlists last week aaarrrgggh

Did you install MC32?  It's on the MC32 board here.

Richard Martin:
Once you have installed MC32 have a look for an MC31 library backup that you can restore to get your playlists back.
