JRiver 31 Library - Windows 10
« on: January 26, 2024, 07:16:16 am »

Can you back-up or load the JRiver 31 audio library direct to a Synology DS220+ NAS instead of using the Windows 10 audio library direct.
The reason is, I am experiencing album art discrepancies with albums of the same series. The correct artist and track/numbering, the wrong artist/album art muddled from The "Ultimate" and "Gold" series of CD's.
I have used the Windows 10 audio library on many occasions with the same annoying result. Every other artist in the entire library is loading fine to the NAS.
I am hoping, if possible, using the audio library direct from JRiver might cure this problem.

The term "library" needs to be clarified here.  There is an entire thread (I think on this board) discussing the different meanings.  JRiver Media Center and its metadata "library" is not going to run on Synology's diskstation OS.  You can certainly store your audio files and album art on the NAS (which is what I do)... but MC will need to run on a PC, Mac or linux box.  I am not sure what the Windows 10 audio library is?
