I can't get DV files to show same dynamics as I get with Apple TV and my Zappiti Neo player that are both native DV players. I understand JR is supposed to do its best to map the dynamics but it looks dark and dull compared to the other players. I have played with the JRVR HDR settings but I can't say I notice much difference.
The other players report 12bit signal when playing DV files but with JR I only get 8 bits, not sure if this is part of of it but great if anyone has figured out how to set it up for proper results?
