EOS Remote not working anymore

(1/1)

Captor:
Hello,
I have used the EOS remote until now on my Samsung Android phone but now after some update it donīt work anymore. Is that correct? I liked EOS over Gizmo but now it look like I need to stick with Gizmo from now on. Pity.
Or is there some other remote apps out there? I only use the remote for playing directly from server. I am tankful for tips other then this mentioned above that I might have missed.
Thanks

It doesn't surprise me that eos would eventually stop functioning, it's bound to happen at some point due to newer Android versions depreciating APIs used by older apps. And since eos isn't updated anymore, eventually it won't work anymore. That's why I stopped using it and recommending it ages ago when development ceased and it got pulled.

JRemote2, Gizmo and MO 4Media are the currently available remotes for MC on Android. All of them can play directly from the server to the device. There's also Panel which can be used in a web browser and also works this way. JRemote2 is my current main remote with MO 4Media as the secondary.

Hello Awesome Donkey, sorry for late reply from me as I was absence and thanks for your kind reply. I have looked some into JRemote2 but I could not find so much pictures/screenshots of that. I will try to again finding some screens. Gizmo I know about from before and that is not bad.  MO 4Media is new for me and I will look into it for sure. Same about Panel. I had never heard about those two so thank you very much for the information.
