Audio analysis (do I have to do it again?)
Denti:
I have over 250,000 tracks in MC. All of them have been analyzed for volume leveling etc. But now, when the box is checked to skip tracks already analyzed, MC wants to do it again. Why? And how can I identify the few remaining tracks that haven’t been analyzed if the program can no longer distinguish?
Dawgincontrol:
Don't know why it's trying to redo those already done if the correct box is checked, but....
In standard view go to the "Files" view. On the title bar (where the categories are listed), right click on it, this should bring up a box listing separate fields. Scroll down to "Volume Level (R128). Select that and it should create a new category listing. You can then left click on the title bar where it should now have "Volume Level (R128). This will list all files by their volume level. Any that are blank have not been analyzed. They should be grouped at either the bottom or the top of the file listing.
Highlight those and run the analyzer.
Awesome Donkey:
How long ago did you run the analysis? Because it might be trying to re-analyze the files for the newer waveform or maybe HDCD data.
Denti:
Some, many years ago. Maybe as far back as 8 years. I’m seeing the numbers in the Volume Level (R128) column and these same files are being queued to re-analyze.

Following up on this because MC is trying to reanalyze all files that have data in this category. Why is it doing that? It's very frustrating.
EDIT: it's wanting the "audio CRC" data. Do I have to rescan my entire 250k+ song collection for that?
