MC 32 (32.0.36)—Unable to Hide Dock & Toolbar While Playing Videos?

(1/2) > >>

RustyStatic:
This wasn't an issue in 32.0.20 (and if I revert to this version, it's still not), but since updating to 32.0.36 (and now 32.0.45 after the suggestion below), whenever I play a video, the dock and the top Apple toolbar don't go away, they stay present—no good for watching. Probably an easy fix, but I've now spemt over an hour mucking around with settings and can't figure it out so thought I'd ask. Any ideas? I'm on Sonoma 14.4.1 running on a 2023 Mac Studio, and as I've said I've never had a problem like this on this machine before with any earlier version. Thanks ion advance for the help!

Awesome Donkey:
You might try updating first to see if it's been already addressed, the latest version is 32.0.45.

RustyStatic:
Good call - I updated and am still experiencing this issue in 32.0.45 however.

Looks like change 10 from 32.0.25

10. Fixed: Issues with the menu bar when entering and returning from fullscreen display view and theater view modes on MacOS 13 and above.

Which fixed the menu bar NOT coming back from display view mode is causing the issue in the current Sonoma.

Will check into it.

RustyStatic:
Very much appreciated—thank you!
