This just seems to be an issue when repeat is set to "Stop After Each Item".

I'll play a particle and playback continues through the source file past set playback range. The seek bar and track info in the OSD display normally while within the range of the file, once past the threshold the numeric progress display "xx:xx/xx:xx bps rating" changes to "waiting" leaving the original track title displayed and the seek bar is completely filled.

Another behavior change I've noticed is when a non-particle video file completes with the same repeat setting it doesn't close the display, it remains full screen with OSD active and "waiting" displayed as well.
