Skin Download Page
mp_goode@yahoo.com:
Greetings, I just recently upgraded to last version, MC32. a week later, while running, it suddenly flashed off and back on to all white default skin. My custom downloaded appearance disappeared. I attempted to re-install the plug in from the Skin Download page but something is broken. I keep getting the error:
*****************
"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<MJPF version="2.0">
<Package>
<Name>Dream In Blue</Name>
<Action>INSTALLSKIN</Action>
<URL>http://accessories.musicex.com/mediacenter/mc_data/plugins/877.zip</URL>
<Version>1.1</Version>
<HasActions>0</HasActions>
</Package>
</MJPF>"

The MC server function also stopped working. What is this? I have stopped using MC all together. I tried going back to MC28; Same problem!
Awesome Donkey:
It's likely because it's http:// and not https:// or something related to that or server changes. That's probably something Bob would need to take a look at.

Something's up for sure. 877.zip is the Dream In Blue skin.
I just tried to download the Jelli skin, and from Chrome, it just opens the mjp file in a browser tab rather than rather than download and execute using MC's package installer.
Having noted that though, it doesn't explain mp_goode's experience of losing an existing, already installed skin like that. I am not aware of anything server-side at JRiver that would cause that, and am not aware of anyone posting that kind of experience in the recent or distant past. Something else is going on there, I think...

EnglishTiger:
It's definitely something Bob needs to look into I just tried to download the Dream in Blue Skin, using Edge, and it opened in the MJP file in the browser instead of downloading it.

The skin download issue is perhaps related to this:
https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,133723.msg927065.html#msg927065
Bob fixed it on that thread (for MJR files), but I see the response for MJP is now missing the 'content-type' header completely. It likely needs one too.
The 'MC Server not working' issue is something else, completely unrelated. Coupled with losing your skin/settings, perhaps you have some disk corruption problems or AV blocking disk/network access.
