JimH:
When you're having trouble getting it to show, try ctrl-1. Also try ctrl-I.
Try a standard skin.

The fact that MC33 opened up normally on the days when the Playing Now popup was active reveals that it is nothing to do with the skin, using ctrl-1 had no effect. Out of desperation I even clicked on the play button to see if that would get it to behave itself and yet again nothing happened. I finally did find the MC33 window I used prtscn to capture the whole screen to show what I was seeing when hovering over the Active MC33 icon in the taskbar. Unfortunately it is too big to upload because it revealed that the MC33 Window was sitting beyond the right hand end of the desktop.
All using ctrl-I does is bring up the popup and clicking on that to access its controls doesn't work
How can I try a standard skin when I can't access the MC33 window to switch skins?
JimH:
If you can see it in Task Manager, right click there and choose maximize.

I cannot reproduce this. It only happens when the popup is disabled?
JimH:
He said he's closing down too.

How? Ctrl-I ?
I assume you're using the 64 bit version.
Any other clues?
