I was experiencing the same thing with the one I derived from marko's logo skin. I put it down to it needing the 5th Button state that is used to define the target area within an image canvas that contains untextured (transparent) areas.

Possibly, could be one solution, but the original plugin behaves perfectly in this regard without needing a defined target area.

Okay, here's my pipe dream idea... would it possible for the Playing Now notifications to use the native OS notification system instead of using MC's (with whatever skin you have it set to use)? Windows 11's notifications would work pretty well here, I think. Apps like Thunderbird do this (with options like custom notification length) so it should be possible, yes?

What would the OS notifications give you that you couldn't do with a custom popup?
