Text search not working
bodiebill:
I have had this problem for some months now: when I do a text search top right (using MC32 for Windows), there is never a hit, whatever I type in. The result is always a blank screen. I remember this used to work for me in the past: I could type in a track name, or an artist, or an album title, and it would be found. That is no longer the case. Now the only way to find things is by going into the wizard, which is somewhat cumbersome. Any idea what could cause this issue?
bodiebill:
Solved: for some reason the textbox "Default search field" was unchecked for all my relevant fields. Now checked, and working again...
JimH:
I just tried and it worked. I searched for "Changed".
There is an Advanced search option that gives you better control:

The best search is Google. Just add JRiver to your search term.
bodiebill:
Isn't that for searching this forum? My question (and answer) was about searching my music library within MC32. Or maybe I am missing something?
JimH:
Ah. Sorry. I missed that. MC's search will find whatever is in the current view.
