Weird import media behavior
« on: February 03, 2003, 05:48:14 pm »

I have two MP3 directories on my D drive.
One is called "123 My iPod"
The other is called "123 My iPod waiting list"

I can import all the songs/albums with no problem from my "waiting list" directory.

When I try to import from the first directory it does some weird stuff.  First, it gives me a message that says something like ... "you are attempting to import from a directory that Media Jukebox normally excludes.  Are you sure you want to import from D:\123 My iPod\?

When I say yes, it imports only songs that were not in their own album subdirectory.  For example, I had about 90 songs that were not sitting in separate artist/album subdirectories.  Normally, all my albums are stored this way.  Anyway, it would import the 90 songs and stop.  Then I cleaned up the folder and put the 90 "orphans" into artist/album folders.  Then when I tried to import the directory it wouldn't import anything at all.  (p.s. I would always clear out the media library prior to attempting to import).

Any suggestions?

Thanks.....
