NEW: Playing Now Popup (PNP)

Next build (43) has this option which defaults to no (do not pop up when stopped).

At present it takes 2 operations to Disable a Popup that is currently open - 1 to bring up the settings page to switch the popup to Disabled and then a 2nd operation to close the open popup.

Is there anyway that setting the Popup to Disabled also closes an open Popup or alternatively by adding a Close Button to the Settings Form/Window that is only visible if the setting is set to Disabled

cncb/craig - the PnP RMB "Show Playing Now" option needs modifying to only be present when MC is in Standard View because in Cover, Display, Mini and Theatre View selecting it does nothing; or it needs modifying so that it switches MC into "Standard View" and then "Playing Now View"

Was just thinking about doing the exact same. Please consider adding "Always show", "Don't hide" or similar setting, also available with a quick right-click on PNP. No need having to mess with the default "Show for x seconds" setting every time for this.

edit: and/or make a new View out of it.  ;)
