Errors in Media Center 31
« on: August 16, 2024, 08:02:39 pm »

Along with greeting you, I would like to ask for help on the following... I've been using JRiver for about 10 years. My last version (MC31.0.87) worked well until now, when errors and functions that no longer work began to appear (such as: displaying Artist Images and others...).
Also, when searching for updates appears the message: "There was a problem checking for updates".
Can you please help me to fix it? (After running again the MC 31.0.87 installation file, the problems remains the same).
Thanks and regards, Alejandro Vigneaux.

Hi Jim. Problem fixed.... I've found a firewall blocking Media Center 31 in the Bitdefender antivirus app config.

Thank you and best regards, AV.

My guess would be something like a firewall is blocking it. Try either disabling and re-enabling Media Network and if that fails try right clicking on Access Key in the Media Network settings and selecting test or as a last report try reset.

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

After enabling permissions for Media Center 31 in Bitdefender settings, everything started working fine with the JRiver again. Thanks...
