Finding files with Tags different than library?

(1/1)

mattlovell:
For some file types, updating tags can be an expensive (i.e., time consuming) operation.  Nevertheless, it might be useful to at least identify files with tags that differ from JRiver's library.

Is that possible?  Can one perform a search that yields a list of files with tags different from those in the library?

Note that, moving files back and forth between a desktop and a portable installation, dumping views as playlists, and then comparing CSV files (using meld), it seems that JRiver's library often retains trailing spaces for some tags (e.g., Name) but those get removed from the tag stored in the file (as least judging from the library contents from the portable installation).  So, a universal "trim" operation might also be nice.

Thanks,
  Matt
