How to reliably exit netflix when launched from theatre view?

I started trying this recently as I noticed that, for reasons I cannot fathom, netflix will play in surround when launched from MC but won't in the windows app (or in edge)

however exiting netflix seems v unreliable

pressing esc does the following with no obvious pattern

* nothing
* shows the exit theatre view menu (so if you then reopen theatre view, it just reopens where you were previously in netflix)
* exits netflix back to theatre view

I've tried clicking around various bits of the screen to see if it's a focus issue but that has no apparent impact

is there a reliable way to achieve this via the keyboard?

I see that sending MCWS/v1/Control/MCC?Command=22043&Parameter=Netflix (or 22001/0) does consistently exit but that means you can only exit reliably using another remote control

Backspace should primarly be mapped to that (its generally "Back" in Theater View), although since it navigates backwards, its not a single click to leave it, but rather navigates you out. Does that work for you?
Thats what I use anyway to navigate around in it.

Yes it's great, I am a bit slow to the party but thanks for implementing it!

backspace didn't seem to do anything for me but I will play with it some more

just to confirm this (backspace) does work for me now (didn't change anything so assume user error previously)

I had the same problem with the amazon video option except there's no button I could press that exited amazon this time, I had to completely restart MC to get theatre view back. Is that a known problem?
