JRiver demands upsampling to my DAC's maximum rate?
« on: September 05, 2024, 04:21:10 am »

I'm using Media Center 33.0.15, I get the following error prompt: "Playback could not be started on the output ‘Wasapi’ using the format ’44.1 kHz 2ch’.  The mixing format of your hardware does not support the current output format.  Please use the ‘Output Format’ tool in DSP Studio to convert to the mixing format listed below.  Sample rate – 384,000 Hz, Channels – 2, Bits per sample – 32."  I followed the instructions and it did solve the problem allowing me to play the file up-sampled to 384,000 kHz. I don't really want my sample rates up-sampled to 384,000 kHz.  Any suggestions?

Not enough detail to comment

Try enabling logging, post logs when you try to playback and post exactly which dac you use
