problems with track number 32
« on: January 07, 2003, 06:31:39 pm »

anyone else notice that if a cd has a track 32 in the tag, it comes up as track 00 in media jukebox. no problems with tracks below and above 32 but the few cds i have that have more than 32 track never reflect track 32. help....

Do a search in the forum. This has been asked and answered many times before.

Using MC for two months now, I hate this figure "32" showing up every time i import two or three tracks. I know, it's not the biggest point, but it's really annoying to correct it everytime >:(.

The explanation in the mentioned threads sounds somehow cheap. Sorry, I don't come around to say this, but it's not along the line JRiver follows in general :-[.

in the latest build of MC 9.0.91 some enhancements have been done to track# not sure if it fixes this problem.

Saw this a few minutes ago. it was:

"7. Changed: Trailing spaces in field values automatically trimmed when importing / analyzing files.
8. Fixed: Comment field in MP3 ID3v1 tags wasn't being read.
9. Fixed: MC would not work with track numbers tagged as "#/##" (instead of just "#")."

Let's see, if this fix something. I will try it with the "end of week"-beta...
