BR Audio doesn't work (Win11)
(1/1)
dpik:
Hello.
I tried to play several backup copies of blu-ray audio and the answer was always the same:
"can't open or analyze the object (hr = 0X80004005)"
I move from "INDEX.BDMV" file, as usual.
Other media are fine
Since I'm evaluating it, someone could help me? In WIN 10 it was perfect...
Tnx in advance

The error you are encountering indicates a permissions or Digital Rights Management (DRM) problem. If it worked under Window 10, I suggest checking your access permissions to the files/folders, right click on file and select 'Security' tab.
Are the files DRM protected? Have you the same 'decryption' program loaded on Windows 11 (e.g. Makemkv or similar)
Searching online for error 0X80004005 may also provide further help in resolving the issue.

Tnx a lot for your kindly answer, but magically it auto-fixed itself! ;)

These are the best kind of fixes, frequently paired with "randomly occurring issue" ;D
terrym@tassie:
Microsoft themselves class this error as 'non-specific', I'm glad that in your case it is now 'non-existent' ;D
