Theater View display query
« on: October 10, 2024, 07:09:56 pm »

I'm wondering about the font and font size in Theater View. Why is the font size not adjustable? Why do fonts that should be much smaller actually appear to be the same size as every other font?

I ask because I'd like to have the full names of artists displayed under Audio. Changing the font to a smaller one doesn't have much effect. Neither does changing the display size do all the much.

What's especially odd is that the next level down the text goes over onto the second line. Why is that? I don't see any difference in how the displays are set up for these two views.

You can only change font size by using expression instead actual field  to group items in theaterview. So if your view now show list of artists, you would need to change field artist to expression e.g. <font size="80">[Album Artist (auto)]<//font>

Thanks!
Any idea about the text going on to a second line in one view but not the other?

Just following up on this: why does my first Expression not allow text to go to a second line, while my other Expression limits display text to two lines?

Trying again. How does MC determine which "level" gets more than a line of text? See above.
