Screen Flashing while watching movies [Solved]

With new install of Ver 33 when I watch a movie the screen flashes.  First everything is red/black then flashes back to correct colors.  Down graded back to Ver 31 and everything is fine.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

I turned off the option "Hardware accelerate video decoding when possible" and the problem went away.
Not sure what changed between versions 31 and 33 but the wiki suggests that turning this option off when having some video issues.
I do have an older video card so likely not up to specification needed.

I had this problem, and after a lot of troubleshooting I found that I had to set all the "color controls" settings to zero to play certain SDR files without the weird colors.
