How to stop fade-in / fade-out audio effects during video playback

When watching video files and skipping forward or back, there is an audio fade-in / fade-out effect each time, which I find undesirable. Is there any way to turn it off?

Tools / Audio "track change" is already set to gapless . "Stop / seek & skip" is also set to gapless & immediate.

That works fine for audio files, but does not work for video files. Is there another setting I'm missing ?
