Can't Use trial jrmc33 anymore on Linux ofter reinstall

Hello, I was evaluating MC on Linux Mint for 2 days and I really liked it until I suddenly received a Playback problem (While playing SACD ISOs). I tried to find the issue but the quite overwhelming options under settings didn't fix it. So I decided to remove MC and reinstalled MC using the "installJRMC" command-line tool. It came up with an extended Trial option which I requested. I received a key for the extended trial and after filling in this key the code was accepted. After starting MC it doesn't proceed and tells me to Purchase or Restore/Find a license. Any idea how to restore the trial option? Thanks

I too faced the same during evaluation period last week. Uninstalled to confirm if JRiver was the cause of firefox and some other apps losing internet connection while some of the apps worked . this had never happened before.
JRiver was the only new installation after which i noticed this happening .On reinstalling JRiver, neither the trial nor the trial extension worked. But my firefox or other apps are no longer getting disconnected from internet after uninstalling JRiver. So no regrets ;D ;D. KODI calling ?? ::) ::)

Unfortunately if you uninstall Media Center during the trial period the trial ends and there isn't any way to get a new trial unless you reinstall the OS (then installing Media Center again) or installing it on another machine or waiting until the next major version of Media Center to be released (which would be 34) and installing the trial version of that.

That doesn't make sense, Media Center wouldn't affect web browsers or any other apps like that. Something else is happening on your system (e.g. something broken with the network configuration like NetworkManager if using that) from what it sounds like. I'd recommend using Debian or Ubuntu for best results with Media Center, as any other distro is unsupported by JRiver and who knows what issues you may have. I'm going to guess you're a distro other than Debian or Ubuntu, in which case is considered unsupported.

yeah, I'm on Fedora 41 Cinnamon Spin(X11 ). Clean reinstalled the OS on weekend but the issue has returned . Seems something else is the culprit and not JRiver. Might give a third trial attempt for JRiver Linux on my system as i couldn't test in the first two failed attempts due to separate reasons.(Ofcourse i won't change my distro for compatibility of an entertainment software because all the EDA tools running on it are only officially supported on rpm based distros like Redhat/Fedora/Centos) BUT i do need JRiver as well for its Standard View interface which is missing in Kodi )
