Not able to drag and drop Flac file from attached hd into JRiver

(1/1)

erniek:
I created a new playlist, opened attached Hard Drive to music files I would like to drop into action window, drag file to action window but nothing happens. Is there some special way to do this?

Library Eye:
from what you're describing, this sounds like something that works on Mac version and presumably Windows but does not work under Linux or at least not desktop environment I am using.

For instance, on Mac I can drag and drop a FLAC into Playing Now, or a temporary playlist, without adding to library¸and then analyze the audio, or play it, etc. Dragging and dropping does nothing in Linux version; play queue or playlist remains empty.

Library Eye:
Does anyone know if this works under GNOME or some other desktop environment? Does not under KDE.
