I think I followed the instructions for setting up Netflix and Amazon Prime in Theater View, but I still do have audio.

I found my WDM drive was set up, but it didn't appear in my Settings->System->Sound->Devices.  I disabled it, restarted, enabled it, restarted and found it when I checked my Windows Settings again.  I set it as default.

When I tried playing something from Prime still no sound.  I checked  Tools->Options->Audio (double checking I had the correct Zone selected) and found Audio Source was HSR41.  This is how my pre-pro appears.  Just to try something, I switched to JRiver Media Center [WASAPI], but still no sound. 

What do I need to change to make this work?

Hi,

Is your pre/pro connected wirelessly using DLNA? If so, I'm pretty sure that I've read posts from MC33 experts that advised that the WDM driver doesn't work with DLNA.

Hopefully your not and someone with more expertise can assist you.

Merry Christmas.  Thank you for replying.

Pre/pro has a wired connection to my media computer.  Most of the time, my media computer has an ethernet connection to my NAS; sometimes my ethernet->USB3 adapter gets wonky and I have to use wi-fi for that connection.  That said, I don't have any trouble with any other mode of operation, just getting audio when trying to stream Prime or Netflix through MC.

Only thing I could potentially think of is it's some sort of Widevine DRM thing happening. Try enabling and using the WDM driver system-wide in Windows, then open Netflix/Prime in a web browser like Chrome or Edge and see if you can stream video with audio there. If not, it could possibly be a DRM thing happening.

Is setting WDM as my default source in Windows the same as "enabling it system wide"?  If not, can you describe what I need to change to try WDM system wide?  I'll verify I'm using Chrome when I test next time; I typically use DuckDuckGo.

OK, thanks.  I think WDM is enabled system wide, but I'll verify that and then I'll try opening Netflix or Prime through Chrome to see if it works properly.
