I am 12000 km away form my server and although the internet speed is nowadays excellent from time to time it is not good enough to watch television in real time without conversion. I have not been able to use the client video conversion request to the server for many years now. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I don't know what.
The video conversion works for a ts file already recorded but not for real time DVB T. I have tried several kind of video conversion H264 or MPEG without success
I am using hauppauge dual tuner for DVB T and recording works very well.
