Tylerman:
Hi there,
I just got the JRiver remote app but can’t access my server. I tried using the Pass Key but I just keep getting this message when I try to connect. Can anyone offer some advice please?
I’ve attached a screenshot of the message I get when I try to connect.

Many thanks,
Tony

Awesome Donkey:
Going to need some info.

Are you trying to access the library outside of your network or is it within your network? If so you'll need to forward port 52199 (and port 52200 if using SSL) on your router. If it doesn't work you need to see if your ISP uses CGNAT, which prevents port forwarding from working. Is the iOS device using any sort of VPN including iCloud Private Relay? Does it work when using a web browser (Safari) using Panel? https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Panel

More info on the wiki here: https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access

Lars Skov:
Hello :-)

I have the same issue. The iPhone is on my home-network. Panel is working in my browser, but JRemote responds that "The internet connection appears to be offline."

Hope it's OK to join the thread.
Lars

Tylerman:
I’m trying to access it on my local network when at home. I’m not very good at tech stuff so I have only downloaded the JRiver remote and just tried to connect but am lost. I haven’t tried it through Safari as thought it only worked via the remote app. How do I connect through safari?

Lars Skov:
To use Panel type “192.168.1.190:52199” in your browser (local IP:52199) – If it works, you can then access MediaCenter from the browser.
