I have previously stated that, as a software Engineer, I have admired the architecture of Media Center. A few months ago I asked a question about backing up via a command line in Windows, and I was pointed to a page on the Wiki that gave me an answer.
Aside from answering the question I had asked, the Wiki web page demonstrated to me the architectural and implementation, I'll say, excellence behind the JRiver Media Center.
Why do I say this now?
Well, earlier this evening, I wanted to add the "Number of plays" database item to one of the screens I view.
But the numbers in that data item were usually just one, two or three digits long, but the "Number of plays" header took up sooooo much space, making the column too wide.
So, on a lark, I dove into Options and found the place where I could customize the header for that item. I made it ..."# plays" for both the singular and plural versions of the item. That suits me quite well.
And that is the reason I am taking the time to bore you with this comment.
That level of detail by the architects and developers of this awesome media app was noticed and deserves some level of attention.
Thank-you.
