Raspberry Pi4 and Hifiberry Amp4 Pro

I've been running a Raspberry Pi4 and Hifiberry Amp 4 Pro with Volumio for some time.

Today I finally got round to setting the Pi up with JRiver MC (which I have been using for years on a PC and Synology NAS (as a Docker image) playing to various devices).

It might be my imagination,  but I think JRiver MC sounds much better than Volumio. The sound is "brighter".
