Missing Items In TV...
« on: January 26, 2003, 10:40:28 am »

As I am now using MC9 for all my TV needs, I am starting to notice things that were in ATI's A-I-W TV that I use on a daily basis but are missing in MC9's TV.

Missing are basic TV controls such as...

* Color (hue).
* Gamma.
* Contrast.
* Brightness.
* Multiple screen sizes with Ctrl + Up or Dn Arrow keys.

Would sure like to see these items added for a more functional TV.

Most (though not all) of these are accessible. Go to TV Options->Configure TV... and click "Advanced Properties" tab. Then double click on "Video Capture Filter..." to bring up a property sheet. "Video Prop Amp" tab has most what you need. I am still working on simplifying the access.

Thanks for the info.

But, boy are they hard to come by... way too hidden.

The ATI A-I-W TV brings them up with a simple press of the TAB key.

MC9 needs something very simple & direct such as that or they are otherwise almost totally useless.
