la capture reste bloquer sur 1080p, il faut revenir à l'ancienne version pour pouvoir régler en 4K.
le hdr ne fonctionne toujours pas....
pouvez vous m'indiquer les softs que vous utiliser les drivers Magewell etc...

I am happy to discuss possible issues with other renderers via a GitHub issue. I am not going to do it here because this is a jriver forum not a general support thread.

If you want to converse here, pls use MC and jrvr for all testing otherwise follow-up on GitHub. To be fair MC and madvr is also ok buti would prefer jrvr because it is what I use.

2 things to note

1) I don't expect different behaviour from MC in this case, all such players (MC, mpc-hc, mpc-be etc) just play what they're given, but this thread is specifically about use of this filter with MC so other playback software should be raised on github
2) if you put 1080p in and your display is 1080p then 4k is not relevant, it's just a 1080p source and display

some fixes in latest release (https://github.com/3ll3d00d/mwcapture/releases/tag/0.4.7) around hdr infoframe parsing, the information is not actually used by any dynamic tonemapping solution as far as I'm aware but seems better to output it correctly anyway

j'ai essayé avec jriver 33, j'ai bien une image, votre filtre apparait bien, mais l'image reste en sdr, par de hdr...
l'image est belle et très fluide.

j'ai essayé aussi dans mpc-hc, le filtre apparaissait, bien ,mais plus tard c'était impossible ouvrir mpc, en effet il se referme aussitôt.
jriver 33 est très complet mais aussi très compliqué à configurer, peut être une case à cocher...

Mpc-be is untested and not supported in this thread.

I won't repeat this, I will ignore subsequent posts that do not contain information sufficient to attempt to comment. In general if you think the output is incorrect then you need to be completely clear about what the input is. In my experience, the easiest way to test hdr is to use the magewell filter, if it's an HDR input then it will appear completely washed out because their filter doesn't handle it. If it appears normally using their filter, it's surely actually sdr.

You can also show their property page showing the hdmi input and can also look at the tab showing the hdmi HDR infoframe.

to be clear on what constitutes useful debugging info, use the magewell provided filter in any suitable player that lets you access its property pages (MC, mpc, whatever) and show the contents of the HDMI HDR infoframe and the video + input specific status

I've attached examples of an SDR input and an HDR input, you will note that the infoframe is all 0s for SDR but contains a load of non zero values of HDR. Actually only 1 particular value from this is used to enable dynamic tonemapping (as seen in jrvr and madvr) but if it is all 0s then it's definitely sdr.

Reports of issues accompanied by these pics = something I can comment on

Merci pour votre patience, et merci pour les captures d'écran.
j'ai installé votre dernière version mwcapture 047, et l'installation c'est bien passée.
j'ai essayé encore jriver 33, mais dans ce système jrv, çà ne peux fonctionner qu'avec des écrans ou vidéoprojecteurs compatible HDR, si je me trompe pas...
j'ai essayé aussi en mettant Madvr et même chose le hdr n'est pas fonctionnel. là je sèche...

par contre en passant en direct sans capture, cela fonctionne HDR DCI P3 sur écran 1080 P.
je ne sais pas ouvrir les tableaux des propriétés de Magewell 4lt plus sous jriver, pouvez vous m'indiquer la marche à suivre...Afin de vous joindre les captures d'écrans.

Jrvr works with HDR or SDR displays

You can use any software you are familiar with to capture screenshots from the magewell filter property pages

frustrant pour moi de voir vos capture d'écran ou le filtre laisse passer le HDR.
une autre chose la version que j'utilise est une version d'essai, est-elle opérationnelle à 100%...?
j'ai les licences de la version 26 et 28, qui ne sont pas utilisables pour effectuer de la capture...

la ligne filtre est grisé sur la capture d'écran et je n'ai pas accès aux propriétés de la Magewell.

Pour info ,j'ai contacté le soutien de Magewell, par retour j'ai reçu un fichier à enregistrer dans le panneau propriété, afin de modifier l'edid pour qu'il passe le HDR 10...
et une ligne de commande pour que la carte soit transparente aux vidéo HDR.

par contre vu mon niveau en informatique...Je sais pas le faire..., Enregistrer L'Edid çà c'était facile...
si tu peux m'aider pour la partie 2. la ligne de code fourni par le soutien Magewell en Haut.

et enfin si peux m'aider pour capter les infos des propriétés de Magewell, de plus quelles sont les cases à cocher pour le HDR dans JRiver. Attention mon projecteur n'est pas compatible HDR, il fait comme si avec madvr, mais JRVR peut-il le faire...?

My filter handles all of this, all you have to do is provide it with an HDR signal and that's it..if you need to change the edid to give the source to do that then do it. You shouldn't have to set any properties at all.beyond configuring jrvr for normal playback.

quand je fais un ctrl+j ,je ne vois pas d'indication que je suis en HDR avec JRiver, au demeurant très bon sur la qualité des vidéos.
Là je sèche...
de plus je n'arrive pas à voir les propriétés de Magewell.
