MPEG-H audio codec support…
« on: March 13, 2025, 04:48:37 am »

Hi there,

Is it possible to enable MC34 to recognise / playback (bitstream) audio encoded in MPEG-H?

This would be a fantastic new feature and give a great reason to upgrade. Currently when I import any MPEG-H files, (either mhm1 or mha1) no audio details are recognised and an error message is displayed on attempting playback.

The decoder is available for free via GitHub but I just want J River to be able to bitstream audio to my AVR.

Thanks

I agree that MPEG-H should at least be supported as a bitstreamed format like Atmos.  Please also support DTS-X
