This doesn't happen often enough, and after reading through the now infamous "backwards step" post, I just want to say thanks to you guys for what you do. I love this *&%$*@ MC9! Now, sure, I spend waaaaaaay too much time playing with it, but it truly has made one of my little dreams of many years ago come true.
I remember my wife and I (who found each other through the love of music) used to talk about grand designs for easy access to all our music, a jukebox, with quick DB functions, categorizing by all kinds of crazy criteria, and it just had to somehow be computerized (please keep in mind, this is 1989 I'm talking about).
But how were we going to get our (ok, paltry by todays standards, again 1989 here) over 300 CD's collection into it, and just how convenient would it be if it were holding all 300 CD's? And how easily would it expand?
OK, so it took a few years, but we're here! And it's because of MC9. When I showed my wife the album art listing layout of MC9 of our now 4000+ albums, she went nuts! I didn't get the computer back for hours.
So, sure we piss and moan over the beta bugs (I know I have) but "step back" a second. Isn't this thing actually pretty incredible?
Remember, jade is better as a pretty stone than as an attitude toward life.
Thanks JRiver guys,
M
