First i get the speed and speed download they say..

When i download ,i can listen to music without skips

I do not need to reboot moden AND computer every few hours to keep my speed

I do not need to put username and password everytime i want to go online

Beside this:
ADSL=$49 to internet provider [ i mean $ not shekels ,if shekell losts 20 % againts $ ,you pay 20% more on your bill in shekels]
And 135 shekels to phone company -around $28-30
All together around $80 a month..

129shekels -$25-26

For BOTH cable company and internet provider
So $50 LESS a month
You do not need to have cable television-in this case you pay $ 2.5 more a month.
The more deals you take with your digital cable television,the less you pay for internet.
Platinium TV deal gives you internet at $ 10.

At the same time i moved from satellite TV to no digital cable TV. Another $15 saving.

My cable connection is a 750 K -download at 93k .
Until now ALL my downloads are at more than 93 k.
100-120 k average.
No minimum contract ,moden free and i got a discman cd/cdmp3 player.

Because of the phone companie ,we got cable internet only since 2 or 3 months.
Today allready a 50/50 share.
ADSL losing more than 30% of his customers.

I working on a file to put again the phone company to court. They sell 420 shekels an ethernet card that you can get for 220 shekels at Bug Shop.
Just people did not know and payed.
I have allready a file from more than 200 hundreds people .
More to come and at 500 ,we go to court.

According to one friend working for internet provider ,one of the raison for the cheap price compared to ADSLPPPoE is that they just do not get any call from people on cable connection.
With people on adsl -as i was- they need few hundreds workers to give a 24/24 customers support.
With cable ,just a few ,mainly to set connection after a clean install
