I am trying To Make A Smartlist

Currently

Year: 1975-1976 Limit:700 Megabytes Sort:Name Duration: <300

However i get some dups in the list, that can be manualy removed but is there away to keep MC from including Dups In The Play List?

Is there another Way?

Maybe to force a Random (and I could not find it in the old help file) or an option to include it using the Wizard.

I did notice if i take the Sort Option out it does not have as many dups in the list.

Well, the sort part is easy:  ~sort=random

The problem is that I think it's done after the limit so while it may scramble the results it doesn't really change the distribution.

Assuming "dups" means multiple tracks from the same artist or album or the same track from 2 different albums by the same artist, the following keywords would be nice.

artistlimit=1  "don't include more than 1 track from any artist"
alubmlimit=1  "don't include more than 1 track from any album"
tracklimit=1 "don't include more that 1 track with the same name"

Actually a general purpose modifier would be nice: say $anyfield=n  which would mean "no more than n results with the same value for anyfield"

I have many tracks with the same name that are dif versions of the same song but making a CD for my mp3 player i really would not 20 tracks of the same name on the CD.
