MediaJukebox 8 and MediaCenter 9

1°) Why MJ8 has not the "Auto Smartliste (Audio)" who exists in MC9 ?  :'( :'( :'(

2°) Why MC9 does not give the same sence or content than MJ8 to the word "name" who is in heading of a column in playlist ?  

  In MJ8 : "Name" is the name of the "track"  ::)
  In MC9: "Name" is the name of the "file"  :-/  >:(

==> Why this difference ??

You must be confused

Name = Track Name In MJ8
Name = Track Name In MC9

FileName = Filename In MJ8
FileName = Filename In MC9

However there is a bug in MC9 when converting files from wav (maybe other formats) that puts the file name in the "Name" field.

"Name" dans MC9 affiche : "Artist / Album / n° Track / Name of Track"

"Name" dans MJ8 affiche : "Name of track" !

Exemple : File => D:\My Music\Schubert\Lieder (Renée Fleming)\Schubert - Lieder (Renée Fleming) - 08 - Ave Maria.mp3

MJ8 :

Column "Name" => AVE MARIA  ::)
Column " Artist" => SCHUBERT  ::)
Column "Album" => LIEDER (Renée Fleming)   ::)
Column "Track" => 8  ::)

MC9 :

Column "Name" => Schubert - Lieder (Renée Fleming) - 08 - Ave Maria  >:(
Column " Artist" => nothing  :-/
Column "Album" => nothing  :-/
Column "Track" => nothing  :-/



Encore une suggestion :

Pouvez-vous donner à MJ8 l'analyseur que l'on trouve dans MC9, svp ?  :P ::) :P ::) :) ;)  (je suis un fan de musique, mais pas de video !)

The template format changed.  Look at the examples in the drop list.

I think you need this: (with the brackets (and spaces for best results))

[Artist] - [Album] - [Track #] - [Name]

I Think that happens because it's a file whitout Id3v1 tags or a broken file, i have similar problem with that but with MPC

This file was ripped with Winamp 280, and it had and it has more ID3v1 and ID3v2 .... correct ! ::) ::) ::)

And I have modified this two ID3Vx With MJ8 !!!! ::) ::) ::)

With Winamp 280 or with MediaJukebox 8, this informations are always correct today. :) :) :)

Why MC 9 is false, and unable to given good ID3vx ?  :-[ :-/ :'( ? :( >:( >:(
