Feature request: x-fade and shuffle
« on: November 13, 2002, 09:54:34 am »

This request has to do with the use of cross-fade. I never want to use cross fade when playing songs in sequence, however I use it all the time with shuffled playlists. How about we have an option that will turn on and off crossfade along with shuffle?

Or: A rulebased crossfade controller?? That would be sooo cool :)
Hard to explain, but I'll try...
"IF 'full album' AND ORDER BY 'track' THEN Crossfade = 0"
or
"IF 'shuffle' THEN Crossfade = 1"
Know what I mean? That way you can set the criterias yourself...Wizard-GUI of course :)

Just another idea :)

I'd like to take this suggestion further:

Have some playlist properties, assigned with each playlist and smartlist that can go as follows:

Shuffle Mode: (Default) / Always / Never
Playback Mode: (Default) / Crossfade / Gapless / Gap
Repeat Mode: (Default) / Continuous / Single Pass
Date Created: 11:01:00 16/Nov/2002
Date Revised: 11:06:00 16/Nov/2002
Comments: This playlist was made in a debaucherous state and really has no relevance to the greater scheme of things at all.

Pretty pretty please??!? I would love you forever!!!
