My V. 9 license won't activate V. 8

I purchased the v. 9 license with the intention of using v. 8 until the bugs are worked out of  9 since I understand that the version 9 license also works with 8..

Version 9 installed fine, and the license installed fine. I then uninstalled version 9.

I installed version 8.0.372 (downloaded it a couple of days ago, I realize there is a newer version out now). When I tried to restore the license from the version 9 file that I saved,  I received the following message:
"Error installing Media Jukebox license:  Invalid license."  What am I doing wrong?

Try the latest build of 8.  If it still doesn't work, just give a shout.

Howdy!

I'm afraid I'm in the same boat.  The fresh MJ9 key doesn't work for me with a copy Media Jukebox  8.0.385 I have installed on my bedroom machine.
