OK, it seems to work now.   Also saved my registration.  I did prune off your registry key before reinstalling.  It's possible its previous presence was the issue.

I still get a crash when switching away from it if it's doing anything.  If I can give you any more information to help debug that, let me know.

Oh, and wishlist for the far future.  It'd be nice if there was some way to tell it that it's grabbing the wrong album art, whether by a confirmation step or something.  Right now, for some of my albums it always grabs the wrong stuff, and there's no obvious way to make it ignore what it found the first time.  It'd be nice to have some way to so "no, not that one" and have it go out and get the next choice.

this is more of a best guess way of doing it.

the problem is there is no site to just say give me artist and album blaa blaa blaa.

if you play with the settings on pass 1, 2, 3 and or turn some of them off it may help.

by the way the registry problem may have something to do with CPU speed. it seems for some computers it works and some it does not. i found that with slower computers it would not work where i had it call to a read registry sub from the init program sub.

Yep, re: search.  Might help if you noted on the results which search found it.  (1A, 2A, 3C, etc.)  Then I'd know which one to turn off.

Re: computer speed, I'm running an Athlon XP 2100+.  It's not super-fast in the current offerings, but it's no slouch.

After installing ver .11 the message was gone so now I don't have to play with The Registry

Ok i finaly figured it out.

HKCU\Software

is not the same as

HKCU\SOFTWARE

when it comes to reading keys from the registry

depending on windows versions they can be Ucase or Lcase.

that may also be why some users have problems with the register key.

When cover art is found from walmart.com, it will put and advertisement covert art in there. Is there any possibility to exclude this site ?

you can turn it off by turning off site 1 on pass 1, 2, & 3
