How about a forum just for skins?
« on: September 08, 2003, 07:42:19 am »

Just a suggestion:

Skins for MC have really taken off over the past couple months and could probably benefit from a forum of their very own.  The skin threads get lost in the Plug-ins forum almost as much as they did in the MC9 forum.

Who knows, perhaps a dedicated skins forum would encourage more discussion and persuade more people to begin skinning projects.

I think it would require less maintenance if some of the clutter were kept organized.  (perhaps "clutter" is a bad term to use as I certainly don't mean to imply skin posts are in any way bad).

I agree - would be nice to have skins in a seperate forum.

I saw Lise ask about this some weeks ago, and JimH replied that they would maybe consider to do it

Sometimes I think that's all part of public relations.

A non commitment statement leaves the question open without a confrontational statement.

Like: I don't have a credit card, how about supporting Paypal?

A: Maybe in the future.

I think their plate is full right now trying to get MC9.1 out the door and all of the side issues don't have the priority level.
