I always have MC maximized, so I would use a borderless skin...

I will post a borderless version with the next update ;)

I have white text on the Import Media Files dialog, on the Convert Format dialog, on the Plug-in Manager dialog, on the Options dialog, etc. Let me know if you want screen shots.

I'm afraid you have some problems that are not skin related, sounds more like a bug - but posting some screen shots of these dialogs may help to find the problem...

Hmm...the white text shows up in less places in the Green Eyes skin than it does in PixOS, Windows and Z skins. I'll see if I can get some screen shots posted later today.

Yes, as knickelfarz said, this isn't a skin issue.  None of this white text should be appearing, as it's not specified anywhere in the skin def.

I've made a separate thread about the white text problem (with screen shots) here:

Edit: Skin has been updated for MC 9.1.234 Beta.

OK, here is my (minor) variation on the "WinDoze Classic" skin.  The main change from the original is the tone of the grey.  If you look at the two little screen shots directly below, you can see the original color on the left, and my color on the right.  I just don't like the default Windows grey--too much red in it.  The tone of grey I use (RGB 211/211/211) is "true grey".

I also changed a few very minor things here and there, but nothing major--it was great to begin with.  I didn't change the blue title bar because...  I like it as is.   :D

New since 232 is the use of Cmagic's "CD" rating icons, as shown in the screen shot linked to below.

234 - Screenshot (187 KB) (The screen shot has not been updated since 232.)
234 - Direct Install (This will NOT overwrite any other skins when installed.)
234 - Download ZIP (For manual installation and/or saving a copy of the skin.)

A request: If you use my version of WinDoze, and you think there needs to be an update to it at any point, please send me an email.  (I may not be checking in often enough to notice on my own, and I'm rather busy lately.)

Notorious small updates...

Support for .239 ActionWindow changes - I keep the "house" instead of using a "back" arrow. There seem to be only one branch for the ActionWindow's menus, so "back" and "home" seem to be the same...

Please use the links in the first post to update.

NEW: A borderless version of WinDozeClassic for those who always view MC in fullscreen mode.

Hi again  :-)

I notice that in your Classic O'clock and others, there is a bio switch, awesome. Yet it does not access the artist bio info as collected and stord by King Sparta's Bios Finder plugin.
Is he using a different field that you are referrencing?
Any easy way to coordinate this so his bio info stored in my filetags can be displayed by your bio button?

btw, posted to his thread on this matter as well

Hi Lisa... I just installed King's Artist Bios Finder (Version 0.0.3) and tested it... the bios that were found were added to the "bios" field and are now displayed as they should in TrackInfo... As far as I know, there is only one "syntax" to display the bios in TrackInfo ( 'TrackInfo_Insert(Bios)' ).

I don't know what could be wrong with your bios tags (?)... So I'm a little bit at a loss... Which versions of MC / Bios Finder plug do you use?

If anyone (gkerber...?) is interested, I will eventually update my recolored spinoff.  I am holding off for the 9.1 final, since I don't have time to change it over and over and over.  (Even though all I ever really do, for the most part, is take advantage of nickelfarz's pre-existing work.  Ain't honesty great?  :P)

In the meantime, if you want, you can make version 234 work with the 246+ betas by going into main.xml and changing <MJMS version="2.0"> to <MJMS version="3.0">.

What would be really cool would be if knicklefarz took ownership of "my" recolored version.   ;)

OK, if you like it better if I nurse it... :D
I've done some small fixes, changed the CD icons a little bit, called it "WinDozeColdGrey" and added the skin to the list in the first post of this thread.
Thanks again for recoloring ;)

Direct Install  for MC 9.1
Note: On Chrome, clicking this doesn't do the install (instead showing some config text). Workaround: right-click, "Save link as...", then run saved file.
