Update on Skinning 101 idea?

Hey all,

Recently there was discussion about a "Skinning 101" idea for the forums or over a chat, to teach those of us who are skinning-illiterate how to get started. I was simply wondering if this idea is still alive.  Is somebody working on it?  Or was there not enough interest?  I was interested in it, but haven't seen anything about it in a while.  

If someone out there's working hard on it, forgive my ignorance. Your work will be much appreciated when it is done   :)
