I don't know if this has anything to do with it but sometime during the problems I had with .15, Norton brought up a malicious script warning as finder was searching. I blocked the script but maybe it was legit.
Although I would assume that installing a new version would reset things, could this have something to do with the problem?

not sure if this would be why your having problems but maybe.

the only thing it is doing is writing to the registry entries for the program.

sherbs:
The script warning mentioned something about trying to write to the registry, must be it.
I've dug around in NIS but can't find anything to change.
Where can I find the url for the database? I can try making it a trusted site and see if that works.
