Girder
« on: April 15, 2003, 10:48:34 pm »

:-/

I downloaded the Girder Plugin, and I read somewhere on this forum that there was a GML packaged with the Girder software.

Honestly, I'm stumped. I could create my own Girder routines, but if there are the components out there, I'd like to know where they can be found.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Sterling

I've posted my Girder GML on the AVSForum site:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?postid=2019739#post2019739

however, it's only viable for MC9.

There is a MJ8 GML available in the "Exported Groups" section of the Girder website, and I've also posted my take on it at:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?postid=1915210#post1915210

Don't forget to search on "Girder" here on Interact, there's a lot of info about using Girder with MC/MJ.

Brad,
A big thanks for all the tedious work you've done.  You deserve a medal.

Mmmm.... I haven't played with NetRemote at all. Perhaps Mastiff will see this post, but I'd suggest checking out the NetRemote forums at:

http://www.netremote.org

FWIW, if you use netremote, you don't neccessarily need to use Girder in order to control MC9. NetRemote has a built-in plugin to communicate directly with MC9.
