Also, I've noticed that some bios are cut off...missing another page perhaps?  Is this fixable?

What do you need in terms of a sample?  Just cut and paste a "bad" bio here?  Will that suffice?  I'll be happy to help.

Also, can you reveal the source of the bios?

I think the Lyrics In The Bios Is Fixed.

I forgot to take somthing out when i was checking if i was getting clean lyrics without the HTML codes.

I did change somthing in the Registration, and it should not effect anyone that is already registered.

it should provide one user with windows 2000 pro with a work around to his register problem. it seems registry is not being saved to his system.

Sorry I didn't get back to you about bios being cut off. Here are a few more artists to look at on the Allmusic.com page. All these artists have bios which are longer than they put on the front page, so they have a little "click here for more" button which shows you the rest of the bio. Is there a way the plugin can check for the existence of this link below the bio and if it's there, follow it and parse the bio on the next page?


Anyway, here's the artists that have long bios:

U2
Allison Krauss
Dave Matthews
Radiohead

Pretty much any band that's even moderately famous has a decent sized bio which AMG doesn't show on their page. Let me know if you need more examples...

King it would appear that AMG end bios that are unfinshed with a ...  could you use that as a way to find whether or not a bio has another page?  Also have you got round the AMG multiple artist with same name problem?  When I was looking into this I couldn't seem to do this.

as I said I will look into it but i am not promising anything.

I really want to be done with it for now, and continue to work on something else.

About the Bios, And Muiltible artists, it is a guess (somtimes you need to do this) but if there is muitible artists that come up the program will select the first artist on that page.

I don't see this changing any time soon.

so if the artist name is "Bill"

this first "Bill" will be selected

so having the artist name correct in the tags or full names helps.

and when doing a search you don't always get what you ask for.

I'm off to check out the new lyrics/bio editor.  Thanks a lot for this plug-in and keep up the great work.

I use a 3rd party email provider- with a small storage capibilites for my primary email - and I dont use outlook as a client so the auto launch doesnt help.

This new twist makes the program seem cheap and gives the impression that you are going to sell the mailing list.  Dont spoil the inovative idea and the cool program by making it more difficult to maintain then it has to.  

Last thing we all need is more junk email.

there is a setting to turn that off.

that only happens when there is an update, if you turn that option off you will have no more on wanted trips.

I Just want To Know Who Is Using the program And I'm just playing around, i have learned about 20 things in the past two weeks.

good deal...

I had it right in one place where the program saves but the second place was wrong so depending what you were doing it wold not work correctly.

this option is normaly good for tracks that are downloaded from the internet since most of the time the fields are not filled out correctly.
