Kodak MC3 Player
« on: December 26, 2002, 03:35:46 pm »

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me.  I own a Kodak MC3 but cannot seem to find a jukebox that will support it.  Obviously it is a bit annoying having an MP3 player that I cannot tranfser any music on to.  Does Media Jukebox support the Kodak device?? If anyone could offer an advice I would be very grateful,  Thanks Ed

Does the MC3 show up as a device (with a drive letter in Windows Explorer or in Media Jukebox) when you connect it to the computer? That may be your best bet. More info about what version of Windows you have, what version of MJ, etc. might also be helpful.

Last, was this page:

no help?

Sorry, should have given more info first up.

The device is recognised by the computer and can be seen as Kodak Mc3 (E:).  It functions perfectly when transferring JPEGs to and from the device so my problems with the jukebox seems to be the plug-in rather than the device.

I have tried Real Jukebox, RealOne, MusicMatch Jukebox and all do not seem to be compatible.  I didn't want to download Media Jukebox if it too was not going to work with the MC3.  I am a poor student though so am only interested in free versions.

Any more help would be great, thanks. Ed.

Ed,

Phelt is on the money. Wnen you say the device is recognized by the computer, if you mean that it shows up as a Drvive Letter in Explorer or My Computer, we will support the device.
