I'm trying to get the AV plugin to work......but for some reason I can not get the AV to find any images.

I told the wizard where to find them....but nada.

when I look at the song properties in MJ I can see the image.....so what's up ?

To try and fix your problem lets start with a single album.

When creating the DB use step 2's search criteria field to limit your search, for example:

al=ommadawn


The search criteria field uses the MJ search facility so any read up on the help to get more exact syntax.


Next tell us where your artwork is stored, e.g. is it in the MJ Cover Art directory or is it internal to the tracks?

Finally tell us what the directory search rules are in step 7 of the DB wizard and what the eventual artist/album is.

With this information I should be able to figure out what is going on.

I did not limit the album search

the album covers are in the MJ Cover Art directory

Lastly I have no step 7....my last step is 6

I used no limits on anything....most of the stuff is blank

The only thing I can think of is that my albums are not in the default MJ folder.

Well I'm using a later version so that would explain the steps issue.

But we need to limit it down to a single album for tracing purposes.

AV quite happily supports cover art not in the default MJ folder as that's how my art is stored.   I use Folder.jpg in all my albums folders so XP can use it as well.

Now you said "most of my stuff is blank" so does that mean AV has picked up some artwork?   If so where did it find it?

Sorry there is such a time lag between these messages....but I'm in the middle of getting an MBA....so my time is rather limited.

anyway,

When I said most of the stuff is blank, I meant that I left the fields blank that ask to limit the search etc. in the wizard.

When AV scans it says it finds 565 images....and  it also confirms the writing of these further down.

also....the AV just expired.

by the way FYI,  I'm Mike ....the guy that was helping you at the begining of your development.....looks like you have done a great job....I just wish it would work for me.
